Andrew Ferderber is a highly versatile Canadian drummer based in the Ottawa–Gatineau region, known for his explosive musicality, technical precision, and adaptability across genres. With 18 years of teaching experience and an extensive performance résumé, he is one of the most in-demand drummers in the area and an emerging presence on the national and international stage.

A Carleton University Bachelor of Music graduate with honours, Andrew has built a thriving career in touring, studio work, big band performance, corporate events, weddings, and music education. He performs across rock, jazz, Latin, folk, funk, pop, and contemporary styles, and has appeared at major festivals such as the Ottawa Jazz Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest, Festival d’été de Québec, and the Montreal Jazz Festival. His international work includes multiple touring projects, including performances with the Montreal-based production company Samajam.

In 2024, Andrew was added to the Cirque du Soleil global musician roster—a distinction reserved for elite performers. He continues to work as a busy freelance drummer and operates a private teaching studio, mentoring drummers of all ages with a focus on technique, creativity, and musical excellence.
